Yesterday I taught you how to make money via Affiliate Programs, how the link-set up works and some other techniques - today I am going to teach you about brining traffic into your site to generate you an income. You probably already know this, but THIS does work, the best way to get traffic to your website is advertising your site on your profile, signature, emails, etc - Word of mouth is a wonderful free advertising tool. Also to generate more traffic to your site it is recommended that you own a domain for the site - even better if the domain is .com; .com sites get much more traffic due to the fact that it’s just a popular domain extension. Another way to get more traffic is to build your Page Rank. You build your page rank by having other sites link to you, so to get this to happen you would want to do link exchanges with other sites. You can search google for sites similar to yours and have them do link exchanges with you - doing this increases your page rank, and increasing your page rank gives you a higher spot on search sites - especially google! Now for a more cost-related way to get traffic is to use google Adwords. With this you bid on keywords in which you want your site to be advertised on, and you pay per click - so each time someone clicks your link you pay a certain amount. Doing this will probably get you the most amount of traffic you want fast but there is no guarantee that they will ACTUALLY buy your product. You want people to come to your site and buy - not just come to your site and leave, so to do this the best thing you should do is include all the info possible in your adword ad including the price. When people see the price - it will show you if they are actually interested in your site before hand thus saving you money on wasted links. If you show no price your going to have 10000 visitors, and maybe 10 sales. If you show your price even if only 500 people who click your link - those 500 people were interested in your site so you can probably assume 200-300 people will actually buy your product. 10000 visitors for 10 sales or 500 visitors for 200 sales? Which one do you make money with. Experiment with different keywords and do SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and this should help you starting off. Yesterday I explained what Affiliate Programs are, how easy they are to use, and how they benefit you. Today I am going to show you some Affiliate Programs and how to use them. Below are some example of Affiliate Programs and a brief description of them

Clickbank.com: Clickbank.com is one of the most productive affiliate websites on the internet and they are very easy to use. Most people who go about affiliate marketing use Clickbank.com and there is an obvious reason for that. Almost all products on clickbank are digital products, meaning there not physical (usually a Ebook, Subscription service, etc). Affiliating with companies that use clickbank make it easy for you due to the fact that you don’t have to worry EVEN if the customer gets the item, almost all the items on clickbank are digital!

Linkshare: Linkshare is a good site if you are looking to sell speicfic oriented goods. If you have a specific oriented sale site, then Linkshare is defiantly a choice to consider using. They are also easy to you.

Commission Junction (aka CJ): I have never used Commission Junction but from word of mouth I have heard they are one of the best affiliate marketing sites around.

These are your three main Affiliate Marketing sites you should be dealing with, there is a lot more, but these are the best to get started with!

I will now go over a brief overview on creating an Affiliate Website to sell your affiliate goods. For example, if you want to sell an ebook by the name of “MAKE MONEY TODAY” what you will need to do is go on “MAKE MONEY TODAY”’s website and see if they have an affiliate section. In the affiliate section they should give you their link and how to set up an affiliate partnership with them. Since this is an ebook and most ebooks use Clickbank for their services you will probably see something looking like this “http://AFFILIATE.VENDOR.hop.clickbank.net”

Affiliate is where you would need to put your username you signed up with clickbank for and vendor is the website code that the webmaster of the site decided to use as their affiliate identification. All you have to do now is just put your username instead of AFFILIATE and the rest of the link should be completed for you. The webmaster may also put up keywords, banners, and tricks to help you optimize their products (because they want to make money TO!) All you want to do now is advertise your site, and I will continue on with more things you can do to bring in sales tomorrow.

With affiliate programs you sell products for companies by using your website. For each sale you make you are paid a commission ranging anywhere from %1 to %80+! The best thing about it is that the affiliate handles all the shipping, customer support, and everything else! You just make the sales and earn an income. What makes affiliate programs so easy to make money with online is the fact that you do not have to do any work yourself except gathering the customers to click your affiliate link; everything else the company does for you! No wonder so many people earn an income using affiliate sites.
